SOUTH SUBURBAN YOUTH RALLY TO END TEEN VIOLENCE

On Saturday, Apr. 28, young people from communities throughout south suburban Bloom, Bremen, Rich and Thornton Townships will come together to rally to raise
awareness of the cycle of violence that has made homicide the 2nd leading cause of death among people ages 10-24.

The rally is being sponsored by Aunt Martha’s Youth Service Center, which is the lead agency of the south suburban Safety Net Works Coalition.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. outside Riverdale’s General George Patton Elementary School (13700 South Stewart Avenue).
