Former Heights Mayor Elected to Local Foundation's Top Spot

Angelo "Sam" Ciambrone will serve a two-year term as president of the Dr. Charles E. Gavin Foundation.

Former Chicago Heights Mayor Angelo “Sam” Ciambrone was recently elected president of the Dr. Charles E. Gavin Memorial Foundation, according to eNews Park Forest.

Ciambrone was voted into the two-year term position during a foundation meeting in November, according to the report. 

The Dr. Charles E. Gavin Memorial Foundation is a local, charitable organization dedicated to offering financial assistance to south suburban youths who are interested in health professions, among other needy causes. It has been in operation for over 40 years.
