Help This Local Karate Champ Hit the World Stage

Help a Chicago Heights National Karate champion pay for her trip to compete in the Paris Open.

Chicago Heights’ Brandi Robinson could use your help.

Robinson is a Chicago Heights area resident of 15 years, and she also happens to be a member of the United States National Karate Team for sport kumite. At only 24, she’s the national champion in her weight class. Her aspirations go far beyond that, however.

“My dream is to become a world champion,” Robinson said.

And one of the first steps to achieving that dream, is more competition on an international level. That’s where you come in.

Robinson has the opportunity to compete at the Paris Open—what she refers to as “one of the most prestigious karate events in the world.” But it comes with a hefty price tag: $3,500. So far, generous contributors have already donated $850 towards Robinson’s cause.
