No cool fête or reservations in place? We've put together some events in the southwest suburbs to help you welcome 2012.

Still looking for the right place to ring in the new year? It's not too late. We've found some New Year's Eve parties you can still get in on.

But don't wait much longer to make your reservations, and assume all events are 21 and up (unless noted).

, Oak Lawn
When:
9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Cost: No cover
What's on tap? The bar is hosting a New Year’s Eve Dance Party featuring Night Life. Party favors will be distributed at midnight. 

115 Bourbon Street, Merrionette Park
When: Doors at 7 p.m., party starts at 9 p.m.
Cost: $65
What's on tap? This New Year's Eve Bash features a slew of food, bands, DJs and top shelf liquor. Overnight hotel packages, including the party, are available at the Hampton Inn and Baymont Inn for $300, which includes free transportation to and from the club. Cost: $75
What's on tap? A New Year's Eve party with live music by The Lounge Puppets, top shelf open bar and a champagne toast at midnight. Call 708-479-6873 for reservations.

What's on tap? 
The theme for this New Year's bash is "Walk the Red Carpet" complete with a best/worst costume contest. Cover charge includes premium bar, dinner buffet, DJ and a champagne toast at midnight. 

, Orland Park
When: 9 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Cost: Free with a hat or scarf donation to benefit teens battling cancer; registration required
What's on tap? This year's theme is "LIVE2GIVE" in partnership with The in Orland Park, a nonprofit organization supporting more than 7,600 young cancer patients each month. The event will feature live music from the band Icon for Hire, food, tshirt giveaways, games, prizes and a celebration countdown. All students grades 7-12 are welcome but must be preregistered. , Frankfort
When: 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. 
Cost: $75. 
What's on tap? It's not called the Black and White Spectacular for nothing. Come dressed in your best black-and-white attire and enjoy a buffet dinner, a champagne toast and music from Johnny & Coax. Purchase tickets at CD & ME's website.

, New Lenox
When: 7 p.m.
Cost: $55
What's on tap? Charleston's is offering a package including a dinner buffet, domestic beers and a champagne toast at midnight. Reservations suggested but not required.  

, Frankfort
When: 8 p.m. to midnight
Cost: $50. Reservations required. 
What's on tap? Chicago Blu is keeping tickets limited to guarantee everyone a seat. The party includes an hors d'oeuvres buffet, top shelf open bar, a champagne toast and music by DJ Jimbo. 

, New Year's Eve Gala, Oak Forest
When: Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at 7:30 p.m., dinner at 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $65/person

, Family New Year's Eve Party, Oak Forest
When: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Emerald Room
Cost: $26 per each adult, $10 kids ages 4-12 (3 and under free)
What's on tap? New Year's Eve Family party features a buffet dinner at 5 p.m. and a toast (champagne for grownups, sparkling juice for kids) at 6 p.m. Call to make reservations: 708-687-9323.

, Frankfort
When: Until 4 a.m.
Cost: $10 cover or $35 including open bar from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
What's on tap? Durbin's New Year's Eve Party at the Pub features an appetizer buffet, party favors, a DJ and a champagne toast. 

, Orland Park
When: 8 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Cost: The party package is $95 person, but to stay overnight in a standard room and attend the party is $345 per couple, or $465 per couple to stay in a whirlpool suite (at the time of this writing, there were two suites left).
What's on tap? Dinner of filet mignon, unlimited cocktails, appetizers, champagne toast at midnight, dancing and continental breakfast with fresh fruit late night. Call to make reservations: 708-403-1757

Heroes West, Joliet
When: 9 p.m.
Cost: $65 per person
What's on tap? Live music by local favorite cover band Hi Infidelity, appetizers, dinner, raffles and open bar until 12:30 a.m. Discounts available at the nearby Ramada so you can spend the night without driving. To make reservations, call 815-725-1234.

When: 7:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Cost: $25 for indivuduals or $40 per couple
What's on tap? Join the Hometown-Murray VFW for a New Year's Eve Luau. The evening includes drinks, dinner and dancing. Bring you own lei or get one at the VFW. Call the post for details at 708-422-9800.

Cost: Call the bar for details and reservations. Group packages available.
What's on tap? Pete Mitchell's will have appetizers, drinks, a DJ, a champagne toast and more. The bar also will be having a Liberty Bowl Party from 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 31 with a free buffet and drink specials.

, Palos Hills

Cost: $60

Riddles Comedy Club, Alsip

The Dancing Noodles provide entertainment along with DEEJYAYS from Tone Productions spinning music from the 50s-80s. A photo booth will be on hand to capture the fun. Also included in the cover charge: drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and a dinner of Filet Mignon, Chicken Marsala, potatoes, roasted green beans with tomato and blood orange champagne cheesecake for dessert. New Years Eve with The KingSnakes What a way to say goodbye to 2011 and welcome in 2012 with our favorite local blues band. Jim "Ang" Anderson and cohorts (one is Palos Park resident, Mike Bailey) don't usually play New Years Eve but they love EdnJoe's so much they agreed to party with us and play some blues while they're at it. Slow blues, fast blues, sad blues or happy blues, you'll hear it all played by a group of guys who have been marinated in Chicago Blues.
