Free Home Upgrades Available for Low-income Heights Residents

For a limited time only, Habitat for Humanity is offering free weatherization home upgrades for low-income Chicago Heights residents.

As the temperatures begin to drop, a lack of energy efficiency in your home could cost you big bucks. Is your home ready for winter?

If the answer is "no," then you're in luck. Habitat for Humanity Chicago South Suburbs is offering free weatherization upgrades exclusively for low-income Chicago Heights homeowners.

It's part of a special, limited-time offer funded by the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity under the auspices of their Urban Weatherization Initiative. All work will be done by approved contractor Walker-Miller Energy Services.

Time is limited, though. For more information, and to see if you're eligible for free upgrades, visit the Habitat for Humanity website.
