ARE YOU GETTING BERRIED?

The Mail comes every day. At home or at work, new papers hit our home and in-box every day.  How do you handle the steady flow of paper coming into your hands?

Open your mail over a garbage can or recycling bin, with a shredder nearby.  Immediately toss, recycle or shred any junk mail and all the parts of your mail that you don’t need, like sale fliers or the outside envelopes for your bills.  Establish a “Bills to Pay File” so the important papers don’t get lost and are ready to use when you need them.  Better yet, sign up for on-line bill paying, and eliminate the paper altogether.

Also, establish files for papers you need to “Act On”, or “File”, or “Follow-Up” on, so you can get your work done while keeping your dining room table or kitchen counter clear.  Keep the papers flowing back out of your hands just as quickly as it comes to you every day!
