Chicago Heights Residents Invited to Bike on National Night Out
Chicago Heights residents will celebrate the 29th annual National Night Out with a bike ride.
Tonight's National Night Out (NNO) an event to get law-abiding citizens on the streets to prevent crime and drug abuse, will again be observed in Chicago Heights with a community bike ride, said Ald. Joshua Deabel.
Bicyclists will gather at , 10th and Ashland, around 6 p.m. for a check-in, with the ride to start around 6:30 p.m., Deabel said. All are welcome for the ride through the Fourth Ward, an event held in conjunction with the he said.
"Number one, it's something I believe in, number two, you're getting out into the community and promoting a healthy lifestyle, and number three, it's an opportunity to see our community," said Deabel.
