Help Honor A WWII Hero With Honor Flight Chicago

Honor Flight Chicago needs help in locating WWII veterans for this year's special one-day trips to Washington, D.C.

Memorial Day may be over, but it’s not too late to help show your appreciation for the WWII veterans in your life with a complimentary day trip to Washington D.C.

Since 2008 the program Honor Flight Chicago has treated over 4,000 veterans to an honorary day-trip to Washington, D.C., but there’s still over 20,000 local WWII vets who still haven’t had the chance to experience this hard-earned gift of appreciation. Three remaining flights are scheduled this year: June 12, July 10 and Aug. 7.

If you want to make sure more heroes get the honor they deserve, here's a few simple things you can do:Check out the Honor Flight Chicago website for more information and resources.
