Last Chance to Get Rid of Your Library Fines (and Help People)

Even if you don't have any fines on your library card, it's always good to know you're helping to feed someone with no other means.

Many of us have returned library books late at some point in our lives. Those fines are an inconvenient consequence that can be quite a hassle.

The has found a cool way to get rid of your fines while helping out people that could use a little assistance.

All this week, in honor of National Library Week, you can have $1 taken off your fines for every canned good you bring into the library (Hint: You can get canned goods two-for-a-dollar at some grocery stores).
