Peter V. Vidimos, Retired Truck Driver and Volunteer Firefighter

Peter V. Vidimos, 86, of Chicago Heights, passed away peacefully May 9, 2014. He was born Jan. 22, 1928.

Mr. Vidimos was a retired self- employed truck driver for Shepley Motor Express, was a US Army Veteran and a former South Chicago Heights Volunteer Fireman.

Beloved husband of the late Donna Nee Behrens. Loving father of Diane (late Charles) Pickens. Cherished grandfather of Amy (Justin) Graff and Kimberly (Adam) Wojciechowski. Dear great grandfather of Hadley Wojciechowski. Fond brother of the late Gloria Polka and the late Donald Vidimos. Dear uncle of one niece and five nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, May 14, 3 to 8 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes - Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Road, Steger.

Funeral will be Thursday, May 15, 2014, 10 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.
