I Saw It On eBay: 1970s Vintage Lawn Chairs

There's odd stuff for sale on eBay. Like these aluminum lawn chairs from Tinley Park, an old bicycle license plate from Oak Lawn and a photograph of an Orland Park millionaire shot in 1990.

Park your butt in style the way your parents and grandparents used to in these vintage lawn chairs up for auction on eBay in Tinley Park.

"A rare vintage loveseat in great condition with some signs of age. It has some surface rust on the middle bar under the seat webbing, and on the underside of the armrests. The aluminum is tinted  a gold to bronze tone. The webbing is in great condition, very firm. Appears to be all original, with the exception of newer white paint on the armrests. aluminum excellent and very unique colors."

The owner is asking $49.

Someone else wants $10 for a vintage Oak Lawn bicycle license plate, 1968-69, sold "as is, no returns." It's got a bit of rust on it.

And if you have an eye for Orland Park history, you might want to add this photograph of Ken Morfoot to your collection. Shot by a United Press International photographer, the proof shows Morfoot mugging for the camera with his winning Illinois Lottery ticket in 1990 and sells for $13.99.

Morfoot was too nervous to smile and had to force a grin! The 42-year-old driver and marketing rep for 7-Up won a share of a $25 million lottery prize, along with his wife Ruth and some family friends.
