SUNDAY, OCT. 7
Battery
Jose Salazar, 37, of the 500 block of Andover in Chicago Heights, was arrested at the McDonald’s in the 100 block of West Sauk Trail and charged with battery, according to the report.

SATURDAY, OCT. 6
DUI
Cierra M. Bartholomew, 20, of the 3800 block of Sangamon in Steger, was arrested in the 3200 block of Dornell and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving too fast for conditions, police said.

FRIDAY, OCT. 5
Battery
Frank Smado, 61, of 3100 block of Miller Avenue, was arrested at his residence and charged with domestic battery, according to police.
