Blaze Destroys House on Revere Street
No one appears to have been home when a Thursday morning fire gutted a house in the 1900 block of Revere Street.
No one was injured in a Thursday morning fire that destroyed a house in the 1900 block of Revere Street in Chicago Heights.
Crews from Matteson and South Chicago Heights battled the fire. Chicago Heights officials were unavailable for official comment. Units from that department were on scene at an accident inside a Vesuvius USA plant on State Street Thursday morning.
A neighbor said the family living in the house had moved there in March.
