Bloom Board Member: "I Figured I Was Going to Get Creamed"
Bloom board member Robert Rossi says the police report of what happened in last Monday's executive session was not accurate.
A behind-closed-doors argument that ended with two Bloom 206 board members started with a discussion about minutes, according to board member Robert Rossi.
A police report Rossi filed Aug. 8 says he and board president Henry Drake were having a conversation about this year's elections during the executive session of a public meeting, leading to an argument in which Drake threatened Rossi.
The report is not entirely accurate, Rossi said, adding that he was actually upset some of his statements at a would not be added to the minutes even though Drake said they would. When Rossi made a motion to consider adding his statements, no one on the board would second it.

Rossi said he told Drake how he felt just before the executive session began.
"I said, 'Henry, you're a liar and you can't think on your own,'" Rossi recalled. "He started yelling at me . . . I figured I was going to get creamed."

Rossi said Drake then called him several derogatory names, including a racial slur, before saying he would call his boys and "take care of this tonight."
"If a kid at school would have said the things he said, he probably would have been expelled," Rossi said. "Maybe I should have had him arrested."
Drake declined to address Rossi's take on what happened that evening, but said the altercation was no more than a "heated argument."
