Chicago Heights Man Hit and Killed by Train

A 48 year-old Chicago Heights man was biking near 23rd Street and Chicago Road this morning when he was killed in a train accident.

A Chicago Heights man was struck and killed by a train early Wednesday morning, Sun-Times Media reports.

Bernardino Mauricio Ovalle, 48, of the 2500 block of Chicago Road, was riding his bike near the tracks at 23rd Street and Chicago Road when the train hit him.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has yet to release the exact time of the accident and death, according to the report.
