Chicago Heights Teen Slain In Brutal Shooting

The Chicago Heights teen was killed by a 16-year-old Ford Heights boy.

A Ford Heights teen was charged in the shooting death of a 17-year-old Chicago Heights boy, according to a release from Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart.

Police say Malik McMillan—who also has an East Hazel Crest Address—got into an argument with 16-year-old Paris Walker around 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1400 block of Ambassador Lane in Ford Heights. McMillan eventually tried to run away, but Walker shot him before he could escape. When McMillan fell to the ground, Walker shot him several more times, according to police.

Walker was charged as an adult with first degree murder and denied bond in court Friday morning.
