Man Attacked, Robbed on Walk Home: Blotter

The thieves stole the man's iPhone and the sandals off his feet.

An 18-year-old man was jumped and robbed by three other men near 14th Street and Orchard on Oct. 19, according to reports.

Police say the man was walking home around midnight when the three men approached him and asked for a cell phone to borrow. The man replied “no,” and began walking down Orchard in attempt to shake them off. Instead, one of the men followed and continued pestering him about a cell phone. During the exchange, the two other men came over from the other end of the block and attacked the man.

Police say the men punched the 18-year-old in the face and body until he was knocked to the ground, and then they began kicking him. Meanwhile, the third man went through the man’s pockets and stole a white iPhone from him, as well as the Nike sandals off his feet.
