Man Jailed After Lovers' Quarrel Outside Club 390: Police

A New Lenox man went to jail last Friday after shattering his girlfriend's car window, according to the police report.

A 22-year-old from New Lenox ended up behind bars after a heated argument with his girlfriend spilled into a club parking lot.

Nicholas A. Ferguson of the 1300 block of Morcambe Bay Drive, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to a motor vehicle after police we're called to Club 390 on Joe Orr Road about a fight in progress. When police arrived Ferguson was being detained by a Club employee, according to the report.

Ferguson's girlfriend told police they got into an argument outside the club and that she was trying to leave. After the woman got inside her car, Ferguson punched the front passenger side window, shattering it, according to the report.

Ferguson had several cuts on his head, arms and hands when police arrived. Fire department medical personnel treated him at the scene.
