There's nothing more annoying than finding your car or truck busted up. Here's a roundup of recent vehicle-related burglaries and thefts in Chicago Heights.

March 26: A 2002 Dodge Durango parked in the 1500 block of Aberdeen was stolen, according to a report. The owner left the car on March 24 and found it missing two days later at about 3:30 p.m. The passenger side headlight was broken and wrapped in duct tape.

March 25: A burglary tried to steal the radio out of a 2006 Pontiac parked in the 200 block of West 15th Place, according to a report. The driver's side window and the dashboard were damaged.

March 25: An Illinois driver's license, an insurance card and vehicle registration were taken from a car parked in the 1200 block of Park Avenue, according to a report. Someone busted to the passenger-side front window and took the property from the glove box. The victim believes it happened between 1:45 p.m. March 24 and 2 p.m. March 25.

March 25: Someone broke the rear passenger window of a 2007 Chevy Impala that was parked in the 1200 block of Park Avenue, according to a report. No evidence was found in the car. The window was busted sometime between 3 p.m. March 24 and 7:50 a.m. March 25.

March 25: A burglar grabbed $10 in loose change from a console after breaking the rear passenger window of a 2000 Chevy Malibu parked in the 1200 block of Otto Boulevard, according to a report. The victim believes it happened sometime between 2:15 and 8 a.m.

March 25: About $5 in coins and one Eternity cologne bottle were taken from a car parked in the first block of Rosewood Lane, according to a report. The burglary happened sometime between 4 and 7 a.m.

March 22: Someone shattered a window and made 15 small dents into the driver side door and the fenders of a car parked in the 1300 block of Park, according to a report. The victim believes the damage happened sometimes between 4:30 and 8:25 p.m. The damage to the window appeared to be caused by something the size of a BB pellet.

March 20: A black leather wallet, a Social Security card and a state ID were taken sometime between 5-10 p.m. from a Dodge Intripid parked in the 500 block of Saratoga Drive, according to a report. The burglar got in through a window that was cracked open.

March 13: A would-be car thief broke the passenger side window of a Chevy van parked in the 100 block of East 10th Street, according to a report. The offender also tried to get at the ignition system but failed to steal the van.
