SUNDAY, APRIL 21

Apartment Burglarized While Helping Friend

A man left his apartment in the first block of Olympic Village to help a friend and returned at about 9:25 a.m. to find his front door forced open, according to a report. His wallet and a leather jacket were stolen.

Homeless Man Arrested

John D. Williams, 45, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a report. Police said Williams is homeless. He was arrested after someone who lives in the 500 block of Minette Lane called police. He told officers Williams was banging on his front door and wouldn't go away.

'Major Damage' To Apartment Door

A woman who lives in the first block of Olympic Village found her apartment door forced open, according to a report. She left the apartment on April 19 and returned on April 21 and discovered "major damage" to her apartment door. An ex-boyfriend was seen in the area of her apartment.

Home Shot Up While Out-Of-State

A woman who had been living out-of-state returned to her home in the 800 block of North Highland Drive and found it had been shot up, according to a report. The woman had left for North Carolina in October 2012 and came back on April 18. Holes from BB gun pellets were found in windows and walls.
