There's nothing more annoying than finding your car or truck busted up. Here's a roundup of recent vehicle-related burglaries and thefts in Chicago Heights.

April 11: The rear, passenger side window of a 1992 Buick Regal was shattered at about 7:08 a.m., according to a report. The car was parked in the 1400 block of Park Avenue.

April 8: A black leather wallet was stolen from 2007 Chevrolet Malibu parked near the intersection of Main Street and Chicago Road, according to a report. The victim was shopping at a nearby bakery when the wallet was stolen. It contained ID cards, credit cards and $200 cash.

April 7: A car manual with a black leather cover was taken from a 2006 Nissan Altima parked in the 400 block of West 15th Street, according to a report. The owner left the car at about 12:30 p.m. on April 6 and returned at 10 a.m. on April 7 to find one of the doors was open. The contents of the glove compartment were scattered on the car floor.

April 7: The front and rear driver's side tires on a 2000 Ford Focus were deflated, according to a report. The owner left the car parked at about 1:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Otto Boulevard and returned one hour later. The officer was not able to figure out if the tires were intentionally flattened.

April 5: A rear window of a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was shattered, according to a report. The victim left her house at about 8 a.m. and returned at 8 p.m. to find the damage. The SUV was parked in a driveway in the 200 block of West Raye Drive. She had seen children playing with BB guns in the neighborhood and suspected they shot her window.
