Names in the News: From Chicago Heights to California in a Moment

This week's Names in the News star popped up in our police blotter. When asked if he knew where he was, John P. Trotier gave an unusual answer.

John P. Trotier, 30, of the first block of East 34th Street in Steger, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police found him asleep slumped over the steering wheel of a pickup truck with the engine running and the brake lights on, according to the report. After police were unable to wake Trotier, they put the car in park and removed the keys from the ignition. After finally waking Trotier, police asked him if he knew what town he was, to which he replied "California," according to the report.
