Duckin' and Dodgin' and Credit Card Fraudin'

On March 14, 2010, an Olympia Fields woman told police her credit card had been stolen and used at a Walmart store in Orland Hills. The woman accused Delisa Tolbert, of the 400 block of Brookwood Drive, of taking the card. On Oct. 27, 2010, police revisited the case, and an outstanding warrant from Orland Hills police for unlawful use of a credit card backed up the woman's story. Police tried to stop Tolbert near her house, but she quickly drove into her garage, closed the garage door and refused to answer the door. On March 16, police were still attempting to contact Tolbert but she still refused to answer the door or phone, according to reports. On May 6, police identified Tolbert on the street and brought her into custody. She was charged with theft along with her warrant from Orland Hills.
