Comedian Says 'No' to 'Blow'
Robert E. Anderson, 34, of Richton Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped for speeding and swerving on Crawford Avenue, police said. Anderson told police he had just won a comedy contest and had been drinking there. After failing field sobriety tests, Anderson was taken into custody, police said. Anderson refused to take a breathalyzer test, stating he "knows the game" and that he wasn't going to blow, the report said.

Milton Wilkins, 54, of Chicago Heights, was charged with speeding and driving while suspended.

Hygiene-Conscious Theft
LaRoyce M. McClellan, 22, of Park Forest, was charged with retail theft after an employee of Jewel-Osco in Olympia Fields told police he saw McClellan put several items into a green cloth bag, purchase ice cream and try to leave the store. According to police, the bag contained socks, Crest toothpaste, skim milk, Dove deodorant, Dial soap and Dove liquid soap—valued at $54.88.

- Lennett Jones, 60, of Calumet City, was charged with driving while suspended and having no insurance.
- Ariel Davis, 20, of Matteson, was charged with driving while suspended.
