License Problems

  • Jose J. Reynoso of Blue Island was arrested and charged with driving with a license that expired four years ago, according to police.
  • Fernando Sanchez of Chicago Heights was arrested and charged with driving without a license, police said.

More Converter Thefts

A Richton Park woman told police she parked her vehicle in the Metra Lot at 3025 Kedzie Avenue at 7 a.m. and returned at 7:15 p.m. to find her catalytic converter was missing. A Matteson woman, who was parked in the same lot from 7 a.m. to 5:20 p.m., also reported her catalytic converter stolen.

SATURDAY, MAY 28

Hot-Tempered Heineken Drinker

Robert A. Williams, 38, of Harvey was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped for speeding on Western Avenue, according to reports. Police said they found a cold bottle of Heineken in the car and asked Williams to step out of the car. Williams told police he drank several beers at Adriana's Sports Bar in Markham. He also insulted the officer and told him if he was not the police he would knock him out, according to the report.
