Monday, feb. 28

No License

Dennis L. Johnson, 26, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license and driving with an obstructed view, police said.

sunday, feb. 27

Just a Big Woman

Kesha Wilson, 34, of Park Forest, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped near the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Orchard Avenue. He was speeding and ran a stop sign, police said. Wilson told police he was speeding to get to her mother who was at St. James Hospital. Wilson was asked to perform a "One Leg Stand" sobriety test, police said. According to the report, when the officer asked if any medical problems would prevent her from doing it, Wilson said she was just a big woman.

DUI

Bridgette A. Polk, 39, of the 200 block of Douglas Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after she was stopped near the intersection of Western Avenue and 207th Street for swerving and nearly hitting another vehicle, police said. Polk failed three sobriety tests, according to police.

Suspended

  • Raul Cazares-Lopez, 65, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, police said.
  • Brandon Scott, 31, of Matteson, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, according to police.

License Problems

  • Benito Landa, 42, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and having an obstructed license plate, according to police.
  • Jose Munoz, 25, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.
friday, feb. 25

Juvenile Drugs

A juvenile at Rich Central High School was arrested and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis, according to police.

Warrant Arrest

A team of police officers, called the "Warrant Team," arrested Rosalba Alvarez in the 200 block of West 14th Place in Chicago Heights in connection with an outstanding Cook County warrant.

Stolen Car

A Matteson man old police his 2011 Chevy Impala was stolen from the parking lot of the Olympia Fields Metra station. The man parked the car at 7:40 a.m. and returned at 5:40 p.m. to an empty space, police said.

Suspended

  • Quenton Coleman, 34, of Richton Park, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and having illegally tinted windows, police said.
  • Lori Oladipo, 49, of Matteson, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license and driving without wearing a seatbelt, police said.

Carlos Rasgado, 29, of Harvey, was arrested and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.
