SUNDAY, MAY 15
Warrant Arrest
Lamonte E. Blackmon, 20, of Matteson, was arrested in connection with a warrant out of Country Club Hills for resisting a peace officer, police said.
No License
Jorge Ibarra, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and improper parking on the roadway, police said.

Suspended License
Turrell D. Thomas, of South Holland, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, according to police.

License Problems
- Mario Sanchez-Santos, of Matteson, was arrested and charged with driving without a license, police said.
- Raymond L. Banks, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, according to police.
- Delfino Montoya was arrested and charged with driving without a license, according to reports.
- Santiago Torres, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with driving without a license, according to police.
- Stephen L. Lewis, of Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 11
Business Owners Battle at the Bank
Anthony J. Starita, 43, of Crete, was arrested and charged with domestic-related assault after an altercation with his ex-girlfriend at Chase Bank, 2428 Lincoln Hwy., Olympia Fields, according to reports. The girlfriend, who with Starita was a co-owner of Tony's Chop Shop motorcycle shop, told police Starita took $70,000 in checks from her before fleeing, adding that he threatened to kill her when she went to Chase to cancel the checks. Police said Starita began screaming that he hoped the woman and her son would die.
TUESDAY, MAY 10
Toothbrush Taker Tackled
Thomas Hall, 44, of Flossmoor, was arrested and charged with retail theft after an employee at Walgreens, 20950 Governors Hwy., told police he saw Hall pass the last point of purchase with electronic toothbrushes in his hands and bulging pants. The employee said he told Hall to stop several times before taking him "to the ground."
