Police Blotter: Cops Find Graffiti on Five Chicago Heights Properties

Chicago Heights police reports, Nov. 7.

MONDAY, NOV. 7

Graffiti on Thorn and Aberdeen

Police discovered red paint sprayed on five properties in the 1600 block of Thorn Street and Aberdeen Street, according to the report. At three of the properties, the paint was found on the garages. Police found the graffiti on a wooden fence at the fourth and the residence itself at the fifth, police said.

Stolen Playstation 3 and Games

A 34-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police someone broke into her home between 8 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 2:15 p.m. on Nov. 7 and stole her Playstation 3 system, three controllers and 20 to 30 Playstation 3 games, all valued at more than $1,000. The woman said she returned to find the entrance to the home unlocked and the door to the room containing the items had been kicked open, according to the report.

Bad Visit from Iowa

A 37-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police she was in an argument with a man at his mother's home and was attempting to leave when the man reached inside her driver's side window and tried to remove her car keys. The man's mother said the victim and the suspect were visiting her from Iowa, according to the report. The victim told police she would not be pressing charges.
