At that point, the victim grabbed Eagon's car keys to prevent her from leaving after she called 911, police said. The two children were given into the care of a relative, and Eagon was taken to the police lockup, according to the report. Police said that while on the way to the station, Eagon repeatedly commented, "I beat that (profanity)."
