Police Blotter: Woman Punched in the Head at Marcus Theater

Domestic Battery

A 22-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police she and her boyfriend were exiting the parking lot of CVS on 14th Street when he slapped her across the face with an open hand and punched the interior of her windshield, causing it to crack, according to the report.

Brotherly Love

A 25-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police her half-brother was getting out of jail in Indiana, and had called to tell her he was going to "take care of her" when he got out because of a problem between her and his girlfriend. The man told his half-sister he was goint to shoot her dead, according to the report.

Causing Havoc

A 42-year-old Chicago Heights man told police a San Ann woman called his phone several times threatening to "cause havoc" to everyone in his house. The man told police the woman was his wife, who he still lives with on and off.

MONDAY, FEB. 27

Bad Theater Patron

A 51-year-old Olympia Fields woman told police she was Marcus Cinema in Chicago Heights watching a movie when a man sitting behind her began kicking her chair. After the woman asked him to stop 34-year-old man struck her in the back of the head with a closed fist, according to the report. The woman told Marcus staff as the man fled in an known direction. An employee of Marcus identified the man as a former employee, according to the report.
