South Chicago Heights Police Blotter: Retail Theft and a DUI Arrest

South Chicago Heights police reports: Aug. 16-26.

SUNDAY AUG. 26

DUI

Mark A Pallanti, 48, of the 600 block of Sangamon in Chicago Heights, was arrested at 26th Street and East End Avenue and charged with Retail Theft (from Jewel), driving under the influence of alcohol, having a blood alcohol content level over .08 and driving without insurance, according to the report.

SATURDAY AUG. 25

Resisting a Peace Officer

Victor Pacheco, 52, and Annette Pacheco, 51, both of the 2600 block of Commercial Avenue in South Chicago Heights, were arrested at their residence, according to police. Victor was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer while Annette was issued the same charges along with an additional assault charge, police said.

THURSDAY, AUG. 16

No License

Ramon Sanchez, 18, of the 100 block of West 29th Street, was arrested near the intersection of Sauk Trail and Chicago Road and charged with not having a valid driver's license and disobeying a traffic control device, according to the police report.
