South Chicago Heights Police Blotter: Burglaries, Drugs and a Felony Escape

South Chicago Heights police reports, May 1-5.

SATURDAY, MAY 5

Suspended with No Coverage

Michael D Lockhart, 32, of the 22800 block of East Drive in Richton Park, was arrested in the 3100 block of Ashland Avenue and charged with failure to reduce speed, driving with a suspended license and no insurance, according to police.

Battery and Criminal Damage

Fredrick Colvin, 43, of the 100 block of West 34th Street in Steger was arrested in the 3000 block of Jackson and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property, police said.

Heroin in Hand?

L. C. Bolton, 62, of the 1400 block of East 15th Street in Chicago Heights, was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance when police discovered heroin on him, according to the report.

Michael Wilson, 35, of the first block of West 29th Street, was arrested at 34th and Chicago Road and charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding, according to the report.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 2

Trespassing

Justin Scheer, 32,  of the 13500 block of South Mackinaw in Chicago, was arrested in the 3000 block of Forest Preserve Drive and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to property, according to police.

Burglary Escapades with Drugs

Raymond Sobota, 37, of the 2600 block of Commercial Drive, was arrested and charged with felony escape, felony attempted residential burglary and unlawful possession of cannabis, police said.

TUESDAY, MAY 1

Theft at Jewel

Calvin Baker, 24, of the 100 block of North Pine in Glenwood,  was arrested at the Jewel at 3220 Chicago Road and charged with burglary and retail theft, according to the police report.
