South Chicago Heights Police Blotter: Domestic Battery and a DUI
South Chicago Heights police reports, Jan. 27-Feb. 13.
SUNDAY, FEB. 13
Driving on Suspended License
Christy Williams, 27, of the 3100 block of 204th Street in Olympia Fields, was arrested at 28th Street and Chicago Road and charged with driving on a suspended license and having no valid insurance, police said.
Possession of Cannabis
Michael Means, 21, of the 21600 block of South Peterson Avenue in Sauk Village, was arrested at Sauk Trail and Sherman Road and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis. Means also had a warrant out of Sauk Village for possession of cannabis, according to police.

DUI
Selvino Balfour, 26, of the 500 block of Hyles Blvd. in Hammond, was arrested at Sauk Trail and Miller Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage, police said.
Suspended Registration
Joseph S Brown Jr., 38, of the 600 block of Preston Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at Sauk Trail and Chicago Road and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and failure to signal, police said.

Driving Violations
Luis A Laguna, 19, of the 400 block of Normal Avenue in Chicago Heights, was arrested at 34th Street and Chicago Road and charged with not having a valid Illinois driver's license, driving without lights when required and having only one red taillight, according to police reports.
Speeding, Failure to Signal
Melissa Thornton, 20, of the 9600 block of South Avalon Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at Sauk Trail and Chicago Road and charged with speeding and failure to signal, police said.
Domestic Battery
Justin Scheer, 32, of the 3300 block of Commercial Avenue, was arrested at another address in the same block and charged with domestic battery, according to police.
