Suspects in Custody After Shooting Death of Chicago Teen

Detectives have been investigating the case since Saturday.

Police have all responsible parties in custody after a 17-year-old was shot to death Saturday near a park in Chicago Heights, according to Police Chief Charles A. Guiliani Jr.

Mikah Darko, of Chicago, was shot near 15th and Hanover streets and was pronounced dead at the scene, after being shot once, according to police. Witnesses told police Darko was in the park when two men approached him and started shooting, police told Sun-Times Media.

Guiliani said detectives have been investigating the death tirelessly since Saturday and will be releasing more information to the public soon.
