A man's semi-truck was ransacked while parked at a lot at 600 E. Joe Orr Road.
Police say four truck tires, four truck rims, one air compressor, two mud flaps and numerous hoses and cords were swiped from the vehicle sometime within the last couple months.
The owner of the truck had been leasing it to a Chicago Heights driver prior to the theft, according to reports. The lease was terminated on Nov. 27 of 2013—six days before the parts were discovered missing.
The total estimated losses exceed $3,500, according to police.
