Woman Punched and Kicked By Silent Stranger Outside Bar: Police
The victim told officers she didn't know who attacked her on March 3.
Without saying a word, a man attacked a 29-year-old Chicago Heights woman outside a local bar March 3, according to police.
The victim, who talked to an officer while she was at St. James Hospital for treatment, said she was walking down the street at about 4 a.m. near Dan's Bar, 1841 Chicago Rd., when a man approached and attacked her. She said her attacker punched and kicked her in the face and body.
The Chicago Heights woman did not know her attacker, who said nothing during the incident, according to police. He ran away shortly after the beating.

The woman could not give police any details about her attacker.
She suffered a cut lip and a bruised face.
