Chicago Heights to Hold Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Mound

The City of Chicago Heights will hold a special Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 27, at 10:30 a.m. The event will be held in memory of Armed Forces veterans who have died in the line of duty.

The City of Chicago Heights will honor American heroes and remember their ultimate sacrifices during a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 27. The event, which will take place at Veterans Mound on the northwest corner of Lincoln Highway and Chicago Road, will begin at 10:30 a.m.

The event is organized by Chicago Heights Mayor David Gonzalez, Clerk Lori Wilcox, Treasurer Jim Dee and the city council. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
