The city of Chicago Heights has begun planning its second Festival of Sister Cities and is putting out a call to local food vendors to help stockpile food options for festival attendees. Restaurants who do participate in the event will be able to sell their foodstuffs to festival attendees both days of the fest, Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8.

To participate as a food vendor in the festival, restaurants must first apply using a form on the city’s website. A $300 application fee is due at the time of form submittal, with restaurants that worked the festival last year receiving a $50 deduction.
