The "ABC's of Medicare and Medicare Part D Open Enrollment"

This informational program will be held on Thursday, September 20th, 2012 at the St James Stephanie Center (lower level) located at 30 E. 15th St. Chicago Heights, IL. at 10am

Senior Health Assistance Program (SHIP) volunteer Jerry Strict will present on the approaching Medicare Part D Open Enrollment Period of October 15th - December 7th, 2012.  Information will be given on utilizing SHIP volunteers and the www.medicare.gov website where seniors can research all of the available Medicare Part D plans for 2013

SHIP will also give important information on Federal Assistane to help low-income seniors pay for prescription drug plans through Social Security, otherwise known as Extra Help. This program assists eligible low-income and low asset Medicare beneficiaries with premium and co-payments.
