Jesse Jackson Jr. Could See 'Significant Jail Time'

The former U.S. Representative is facing potentially serious jail time after a federal investigation into alleged misuse of campaign finances.

“Significant jail time,” is included in a potential plea deal for former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., Sun-Times Media reports.

Federal authorities began an investigation into Jackson’s alleged misuse of campaign money in October 2012, while Jackson was on a leave of absence for mental disorders. The initial federal probe dovetailed into a second probe into Jackson’s wife, former Chicago Alderman Sandi Jackson. There is some speculation that Jackson ratted on his wife, the Sun-Times reports.

Reports of Jackson’s misused finances include the purchase of a $40,000 Rolex watch and $5,000 per month to pay his wife’s consulting firm, according to the report.

one of the omitted parts of the story has been how and who was behind the rise of the vaunted BLOOM GOP organization, none other than another convicted felon ERV HEARD OF HIM? At the Temple ask Manny about how they gave MEL a radio gig on and created a new RHODES SCHOLAR and south side professor all for the resume and getting back to FAST EDDIE, GUS was a ally and friend of HAROLD WASHINGTON and Rev Farrakhan himself as if u don't know!

@ostritches Nah that's too modern! Just think if u can the convicted powerhouse political felons and some on flimsy and almost trumped up charges who fell after being set up and part of the conspiracy, first Mel, then Chuck then Rosty then Eddie and now JJJ and Sandi and when SR falls there will be none! Where else can so many coincidences take place except in the minds of Ostriches! Seven is the lucky number for the Banksters mayor of Bloom and later Rich Township, there were two other players, the first the former leader of Rich Twnsp who quietly moved from Rich to the land of Rich banksters after his honorable wife was elected a Crook County Judge and slated by the other player whose daughter is the ILLINOIS AG which insures he will never be a alumni of a Fed County club

Just wondering if Doug, Tom and a few others ARE capable OF PUTTING DOWN THEIR thoughts on a issue that is interesting to Patch readers, WHAT ELSE IS THE PURPOSE?
