Judge Denies Request to Seal Jackson Jr.'s Medical Docs

The documents reportedly contain "sensitive details" about the former congressman's health problems, according to the Northwest Indiana Times.

A request by defamed ex-congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. to seal select sentencing documents was rejected by Judge Amy Berman Jackson in a Tuesday court order, reports the Northwest Indiana Times.

Judge Jackson ordered the documents containing "sensitive details" about Jackson's health problems and medical information about a family member remain unsealed until she can view them. Judge Jackson did say, however, that the information won't be publicly available while she's reviewing it.

Jackson is set to be sentenced next month for misusing $750,000 in campaign funds.
