Local Businesses Fund Annual Chicago Heights Book

Residents can obtain a free copy of the book at City Hall.

The City of Chicago Heights recently unveiled a new annual publication identifying key places, people and facets of the city.

The book was a longtime coming, according to Chicago Heights Business Council Executive Director Susan Wolf.

"This has been about two years in the making," Wolf said. "Mayor Alex Lopez was still alive when we started talking about it."

The book is completely funded by local advertisers, according to Wolf. It is broken into segments, including "Things to Do" and "Homes and Residential Living." The book is 20 pages long cover-to-cover.
