Back to School: Free Haircuts, School Supplies and Entertainment at Prairie State College

The Illinois State Crime Commission and Bloom Township are also partnering to provide free back to school essentials at Prairie State College.

Anyone who has not done their back-to-school shopping yet, , will get one more chance at free supplies before the school year starts.

The Illinois State Crime Commission and the are coming together for their Fourth Annual Back to School Fair at this weekend.

A visit to Prairie State this Saturday, Aug. 18, will get students free haircuts, dental cleanings and vision screenings. The fair starts at 9 a.m., and students will need to come early for the free school supplies as the stock is limited.

In addition to all the free stuff, there will be a talent show for kids and teens. To participate in the talent show call the Bloom Township Youth Department at 708-754-9400 or send an email to Lidiad@­bloomto­wnship.­org.
