Bloom Band to Raise Money With Chili Cook-Off

Residents are welcome to enter the cook-off or pay $5 for unlimited tastes at the event.

What's the best way to raise money for the school band? A chili cook-off definitely has potential.

The band department is sponsoring a chili cook-off fund-raiser Saturday, Oct. 29.

It's open to the community and in the cafeteria at . A $5 ticket will allow you to taste as much chili as you want, and the proceeds will benefit the Blazing Trojans band program.

Entertainment at the third annual cook-off will be provided by two student rock bands, Helton said.
