Bloom Students Walk to Raise Funds for Diabetes: Whiz Kids

This week's Whiz Kids are a group of Bloom students, who walked toward a common goal.

students and staff participated in a School Walk for Diabetes. The recent two-day event, organized by teacher Scott Schulz, was both a fund-raiser and an educational program to teach students about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Students walked the Sarff Field track during physical education classes.

More than $2,600 was raised for the American Diabetes Association, Schulz said.
