District 170 Announces Math Olympiad Winners

See which two schools came out on top.

Student teams from and Schools won first place in the recent
third and fourth grade competitions in the annual Chicago Heights School District Math Olympiad.

Three-member teams from all nine District schools competed in mathematics matches requiring computation and application, problem solving and simple plane geometry.

Kennedy School finished in second place in both the fourth and third grade competitions.  Roosevelt School came in third in the fourth grade Olympiad, and Wilson had a third place in the third grade Olympiad.
