Our annual Mardi Gras fundraiser is just around the cornerl It will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011. St. Kieran School has served Chicago Heights and the surrounding suburbs for nearly 50 years. With the help of the PTN (Parent Teacher Network), we have been able to enhance the education of our students with expansive programs, field trips, learning software and upgrades to the school, just to name a few things.

Mardi Gras is the largest fundraiser at St. Kieran School and would not be possible without the generous help of our families. Plans are underway to host this adult evening gala which will feature entertainment, cajun food, hurricanes, a dessert buffet, and raffles. This event is promoted to school parents, parishoners and the surrounding community with fundraising targeted at $10,000.
Much of the funds raised are through local businesses and families. We also seek donations for our basket raffle table which is one of the primary draws to the event. In the past these baskets have contained tickets for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, a season family pass to Skyline Pool, a $200 spa gift certificate, and many restaurant gift certificates, all which were donated through local businesses and corporations.

All of our contributors will be prominently recognized in our program, their names will be displayed on banners and in our parish bulletin.
