As the school year nears an end and graduation plans begin to take shape, some Chicago Heights residents with students graduating from Bloom and Bloom Trail high schools are starting to wonder: 'Do I have enough tickets to graduation?'

The dilemma is a very real problem for some residents, who wish to bring either the entire family, or entire extended family, to the special event. Graduation for both schools takes place Sunday, May 26, at the Tinley Park Convention Center.

Bloom Trail's graduation ceremony is at noon, while Bloom's graduation ceremony is at 4 p.m.

As with most graduation, the Bloom Township High School District 206 limits graduation tickets distributed to families of students. Each family receives six tickets per graduate, which can leave some extended family members left out in the cold come ceremony time.

As graduation nears, families that are looking for extra tickets are reaching out to others in the community, in the hopes of securing seats for the entire family.
