Prairie State Opens New Student Veterans Center
Several Prairie State College trustees were on hand for the special event.
had a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 9 for the new Student Veterans Center.
The center will be a place for student veterans to gather and find out more about services available to them both from the college and the community.
The ribbon cutting was part of the Veterans Day Ceremony that included presentation of the colors by the Bloom Township High School NJROTC Color Guard, the donation of a Veterans Memorial Stone by the Student Veterans Club, and a Missing Man Table.
