Remembering 9/11: Bloom High School's Annual Ceremony

The Bloom JROTC students held an emotional tribute for the fallen last Wednesday.

Students, veterans and first responders gathered at Bloom High School on Wednesday, Sept. 11 to honor those lost in the terrorist attacks that occurred 12 years ago.

Mayor David Gonzalez commended the high school and Bloom JROTC for putting on the emotional event.

“Even 12 years after that tragic day, it is still difficult to think about the events of September 11,” Gonzalez said after the ceremony. “This is a wonderful annual ceremony that gives proper respect to the victims, and I thank the Bloom JROTC teachers and students for making it happen every year.”
